Current Legal Affairs · Know your Rights

Just click! It’s supposed to be this easy to get information on the law. Unfortunately, in Nigeria, our laws are buried inside a myriad of dusty statute books, difficult to read case-law encapsulated in a multi-layered federalism system. Sometimes it’s difficult to truly figure out what the law says about simple things like how to start a company, the procedure for paying your taxes, the legality of having domestic staff or even the extent of LASTMA’s powers, and one may just need a little understanding of the issues before proceeding to pay for much needed advise from professional lawyers.

If you share this sentiment, do not fear, Law at a Click is here to help. Oluwatosin Famakinwa (Nee Phillips) realised the need to make the law easily accessible to all, and she created Law at a Click to do just that! Even though Tosin has been called to be with the Lord, her vision remains with us, and this blog is your one-stop-shop for legal knowledge that will be useful for your day to day life.

We are re-launching this blog on the 15th June 2016, the first anniversary of Tosin’s ascension to meet the Lord, and we have THREE new articles prepared just for you below. You should also expect to see a new article from us at least once a month. We encourage you to ask questions, so we can provide quick answers to your legal needs, and also share the link to this blog if you find the content useful.

Lastly, we want you to remember that success in life should not be measured by how long we live, but by how much impact we have. Tosin made an impact on us while she was here, and we encourage you to do the same in your sphere of influence.

Thanks for stopping by!
